Randomness

1. Zits. Ever since I’d returned from the Krabi, they can’t stop erupting like volcanos in End of the World. I don’t know what’s wrong. Was it the sun, or the sunblock lotion, or food, I don’t know. And now, this one zit showed me that there is never a place too odd on your body to have a pustulent bump. The most recent site – My GUM. I didn’t think it was one till… it started acting like a bloody pimple when I broke it. Gross beyond gross? It kind of intrigued me though.

2. Can I be considered a Gleek when I’m obviously officially out of my teenage years (aside from the aforesaid zits which normally, usually, adults grow out from because they are way past puberty)? In primary school I was selected to join the choir and to be truthful, I didn’t like it cos it didn’t seem cool. It was plain boring, standing around in neat lines while opening and closing your mouth like a goldfish (that’s when you don’t memorize the lines to the songs). After a while I dropped out and joined gymnastics. Other than looking cool while cartwheeling to the beat of ‘The Final Countdown’ in front of the whole school, well, at least I won’t be struggling to stay awake on my frozen feet in the midst of ‘Top of the World’. No fidgeting, mind you. If choir was as fun as Glee made it out to be – like singing and grooving to ‘4 Minutes’ during assemblies, I probably wouldn’t have lost a good beautiful front tooth.

3. 2nd visit to the bridal boutique in a few days to choose the remaining gowns and makeup trial. Getting exciting, this ride. One month to go to the photoshoot, and seriously, I do not feel at all ready. Zits, flab and all. Very existent. Gosh. Thank God for Photoshop.

I hate Rainy Days

Because they are like holidays for the snails. They are everywhere! I kept having to swallow silent screams as I saw, the horrors, families of slimy snails crawling out happily to have their dinner just across the pavement.
